Lugh’s foster-mother, who cleared a forest into a plain.

She had the wood of Coill Cuan cleared into a plain, and died of the labour. Lugh held games and a lament for her, a fortnight before Lughnasadh and a fortnight after. Her name survives in Teltown, Co. Meath.
