Son of Dé Domnann. With Elatha and Tethra he laid the tribute on Ireland in the reign of Bres, and with Balor he led the Fomorians to war. He made the Dagda eat a cauldron of porridge out of a hole in the ground on pain of death. When Lugh put out Balor’s eye, the Fomorians it killed fell against Indech’s breast, and in the rout he fell in single combat with Ogma. His son Octriallach buried the well of Sláine under a cairn.
