In the Book of Leinster she is a ban-cháinte, a woman-satirist, and so no one could keep her out. Besides the girl’s foster-parents, she was the only one let into the house where Conchobar kept Deirdre hidden. When Deirdre saw a raven drinking blood on the snow and named the three colours of the man she would love, Leborcham told her who he was: Naoise, son of Uisliu.
