Son of Oisín. In the Pursuit he tells Diarmuid that only a wretch fails to keep his bonds, takes him under his own protection against his grandfather Fionn at the quicken tree, and forces Fionn back to the well a third time as Diarmuid lies dying. Tradition has him fall at the Battle of Gabhra, where he and Cairbre, son of Cormac, killed each other.
