One of the Tuatha Dé Danann, whose fort was Dún Tuireann. When his sons were fined for killing Cian, he told them the doom was just, and how to win Manannán’s boat from Lugh. When they came home dying, he begged Lugh for the healing pigskin, was refused, and died over their bodies. Joyce’s English calls him Turenn.
