Son of Trénmór. He and Urgriu of the Luagni contended for the leadership of the Fianna, and they met in battle at Cnucha. There the man who kept Cumhall’s treasure-bag wounded him, and Goll mac Morna killed him and carried off his head. His wife Muirne was carrying their son, Fionn. The Dindshenchas of Almu says Cumhall had carried Muirne off by force from her father, Tadg.
