Son of Riangabair, he drove the chariot of Cú Chulainn through the long winter of the Táin. He sent the Gae Bulga down the stream to his master against Loch and against Ferdiad, mocked him into his fury when Ferdiad flung him off, and roused him from his faint by Ferdiad’s body. In Bricriu’s Feast he claims the champion’s portion for his master.
