Henderson’s translation of Bricriu’s Feast calls him Conall the Victorious, and Bricriu flatters him as the man who guards the rear of the men of Ulster coming home. His wife is Lendabair, daughter of Eogan mac Durthacht. At Cruachan Medb gives him a cup of white bronze with a bird of gold on it, and at Cú Roí’s fort a giant from the sea throws him over the wall. In The Boyhood Deeds of Cú Chulainn it is Conall who tells how the boy killed Culann’s hound.
